Subject: Five Weeks old
I've realized that this is becoming a weekly affair, so I'll try and add personal info about development in future emails - though she doesn't
change THAT much over a week's time.
Our little girl is becoming a pudgey one. She's got a second chin that's bigger than the first and she's finally grown out of the newborn
diapers. Had to take a package back to the store to get the bigger version.
She's also beginning to fit the larger clothes - we have a lot more of those than the newborn kind. Anna is a huge eater - we can't feed her
enough.
Anna has established that she knows who her mommy is, and she likes her a lot. Just this morning Anna was kinda cranky - wouldn't sleep,
wouldn't eat - turns out she just wanted to be held. This girl's a lot smarter than we give her credit for.
Anna is beginning to take a bottle now - Michelle is expressing milk so that Dad can participate in the fun, and so that Mom can get a break
once in a while (no formula). We have also begun to introduce a pacifier - sometimes she just wants to suck.
Hope you like the pictures - we saw her cute little face and had to get a few in! They didn't turn out as nice as we'd like, but they'll have
to do. Michelle's dad got us a camcorder recently, so all the pictures come from that - we take snapshots from the video shots we take. As soon
as Skye updates his computer (it'll be a little while) we'll be able to send out videos as well.
